Directions
1. Prep the squash.
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Carefully slice the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise, then scoop out the seeds and center.
2. Bake.
Place the squash halves cut-side down in a baking dish with about 1–2 inches of water. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the squash is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
3. Make your “spaghetti.”
Remove the squash from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Using a fork, gently scrape the inside into those perfect spaghetti-like strands.
4. Add the flavor.
Toss the spaghetti squash with a drizzle of avocado oil, salt, pepper, your favorite fresh herbs, and Rao’s Marinara Sauce. If you’re adding ground beef, mix in the cooked beef here.
5. Make it cheesy.
Transfer everything back into your baking dish and top generously with shredded mozzarella. For an extra creamy, lasagna-style finish, add a few spoonfuls of ricotta on top.
6. Bake until golden.
Increase the oven temperature to 375°F and bake for another 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and beautifully golden.
Serve warm and enjoy! 🤍
Gracefully Kristen Tip: Finish with fresh basil or parsley right before serving. It adds a little extra flavor and makes the dish look beautiful on the table.
